do re mindful turns your sewing machine into a musical experience. In this way you can create together with your machine in a more mindful, focused or relaxed way, resulting in both your fabric and a musical piece.

This can be used for beginners who want to overcome their fear of working with a new machine as well as more experienced creators that want to explore new ways to create together with their machine.

During the project, it was interesting to look from the perspective of the machine as an individual entity and reframing the common practise of sewing. Building an add-on embedded in an existing machine required creative technological solutions and creating different ambient music for sewing that are linked to using was interesting as well.
